cells shows an increase in retained voltage over the old packs when run in

GP2200 SERIES 25c

These 25c cells are the new 2200mah
powerhouse batteries! Our factory has tested these cells to 100 cycles at 20c
with around 10% capacity loss which is excellent performance for a high
discharge cell. The GP2200 25c packs produce
incredible figures, we are running them at 38A continuous in a minifan setup, and as long as you don’t go past
1800-1900mah discharge the pack temperature stays around 40°c!! (Based on
ambient temps of around 20°). |

Please note: we do not keep large inventories of Lithium
Polymer batteries in stock for one very important reason, shelf life! Many
flyers have purchased packs that have been sitting in shops or on the shelf
for 6-12 months or more, and experienced a lack of performance; it is well
known LiPo batteries lose their capacity and
ratings over time. Our packs are always fresh from the factory, while it may
take 1-2 weeks to get a large or odd pack size in, you can rest assured you
are getting the freshest batteries available. Another very important issue with LiPo batteries is storage temperatures! Factory data
shows that lithium batteries that are fully charged then stored at 30+
degrees can lose up to 20% of their rated capacity over as little as 6
months! All our battery stock is basement stored at an average temperature of
15-20 degrees at a 55% charge rate or 3.8-3.9v nominal, the optimum storage

● What is “C” rating? It is a factory term for the
discharge rate a cell can supply. 10c means 10 times the capacity, so a 10c
2200mah battery would have a discharge rate of 22 amps maximum continuous. ● Please be aware, most sellers claims of 20c continuous
and 30c maximum for any battery are quoted straight from the factory as the
absolute maximum a new cell will perform at, this will result in a shortened
lifespan and considerable risk of damaging the pack, not to mention most of
the cheaper packs available run over 60°c at these discharge rates! ● Balance leads: Our packs all come with Polyquest/Hyperion style plug which will match many of
the popular balancers and chargers on the market and will mean customers with
Polyquest, Hyperion, PolyRC,
PolyPro or similar packs will not have to change
leads around when charging different packs. 20c RATED PACKS: We recommend keeping
your maximum static amp draw to 17c for prop driven planes and 15c for EDF
planes. Burst amps of 20-22c maximum should be observed for increased
lifespan (Dependant on ventilation and cooling of the pack during flight). 25c RATED PACKS: We recommend keeping
your maximum static amp draw to 22c for prop driven planes and 18c for EDF
planes. Burst amps of 25-30c maximum should be observed for increased
