EXTREME RC Fan housings are precision CNC Machined EDF units made in Taiwan. A big step above the Chinese products, these housings are beautifully machined and semi polished.

This is a 120mm CNC machined alloy housing & alloy motor cone. It will accept motors up to 45mm diameter and the custom rotor hub takes 8mm motor shafts.

The rotor is a bit special in this one! :) We are running a custom DYNAMAX Rotor which features a CNC machined alloy hub designed to fit straight to all popular 8mm shafted motors, and cut down rotor blades to suit our Alloy housing. We cut the rotor blades down by hand and then carefully assemble the rotor. Then the rotor is fitted to an 8mm shaft blank and mounted up in our lathe where the blade tips are carefully machined down to create a round impeller.

We then fit an HET 700-98-670 Typhoon inrunner to the housing, this is HET's new ong can powerhouse motor and when combined with the 120mm fan provides a lightweight high power unit. We add a machined alloy sleeve to hold the motor centered in the fan and conduct heat out through the housing for enhanced cooling. The fan is then fitted to our dynamic balancer and fine balanced before being power tested on 12 cells up to maximum output.

This is a unique and powerful Fan unit with an incredible sound! I plan to fit it to a large F20 Tigershark as soon as the airframe is available.
