Extreme RC are now stocking select JP-Hobby fan units for our Jet customers. We have watched JP fans over the years, and they have improved their efficiency and performance to where they are a serious competitive alternative to the European made fans.

Jingpin Hobby uses High grade aluminium alloy to maintain a rigid fan structure whilst keeping the weight to a minimum. This fan unit complete ready to install is only 550 grams!! The lightest 120mm setup we have! The shroud acts as a heat sink, removing heat from the motor. This design like many alloy motor housings before it provides the best motor cooling, extending the lifespan of the motor.

The highly rigid structure design is capable of running up to high RPM to produce extremely high efflux velocity for maximum speed and efficiency. The housing features an aerodynamic blade guard in front of the rotor, in the event of catastrophic failure the blades are kept inside the housing or broken up.

Each metal blade is precisely made of High Grade Aluminum alloy. Every blade has been subjected to 8 hours of metal fatigue testing as well as in the dynamic balance machine for calibration, ensuring the safest product we can produce for the end user. As the rotors are dynamically balanced you could assemble our EDF system with any other motor without losing dynamic balance effect. The motor and fan unit comes assembled and balanced ready to run.
